Finishing a Demonstration Painting

PSNM Distinguished Pastelist, renowned artist and simply a lovely lady, Colette Odya Smith, gifts us with a demonstration of something that she normally keeps under wraps in her own studio; the completion of a demonstration painting. Once she has created a painting for a demonstration, it usually will not be finished until she works to modify it or put in the finishing touches. She reserves the right to take it home and in private, complete the artwork, eventually sending the completed image to the workshop participants for their perusal. So, for our benefit, this time she is letting us peek into the thought processes she normally uses when finishing a demonstration painting.
